Mikey Bruneau and Sean Reilly Win The 5th Annual Steep and Deep Pipeline Photo Challenge in Memory of Sion Milsoky

Mikey Bruneau Pipeline charger and North Shore lifeguard win the coveted Steep and Deep Pipeline Challenge along with north shore  winning photographer Sean Reilly.

There were hundreds of submissions to go through and it was a hard one to narrow down with so many amazing images coming through with such an amazing El Niño season we’ve had, but their winning image made it to the judges table and out on top with the most points.  The image speaks for itself.  Good Job Boys!!

Big mahalo to the  sponsors, Vans, Volcom, Surfing Magazine and Live Like Sion. Thank you very much to the judges who have supported this event every year.

Gerry Lopez, Michael Ho, Peter Taras and Sean Briley big Mahalos!

The wining image will be featured in Surfing Magazine and each are $2,500 richer thanks to Vans. And it goes without saying these boys get bragging rights for winning the 5th Annual Steep and Deep Pipeline Photo Challenge in memory of Sion Milosky.  All for Si!!!

Mahalo and Aloha for all the support on helping us put on another grass roots event for the boys that shines light on the surfers and the photographers who put it all on the line at Pipe and Backdoor!  Chee boys!
